Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Pour Decision app (the "Application") for iOS, created by OzBuilds, LLC (the "Service Provider").

Your Drink Data Stays on Your Device

Everything you log stays on your device: drinks, portions, limits, notes, blood alcohol settings, and pacer sessions. The same goes for the answers you give when setting up your personal plan (such as your goals, age group, sex, weight, drinking habits, and spending) and the plan itself. None of this is ever sent to the Service Provider or to any third party. Backups you create are stored on your device and are included in your device's own iCloud or computer backups. Backups or CSV files you choose to share are sent only where you share them.

Usage Analytics

To understand how the Application is used and improve it, the Application sends anonymous usage data to Amplitude, an analytics provider. This includes:

• which screens and features you use (for example, "a drink was logged", "a plan was created" or "settings were changed"), without any details of what you drank or how much;
• how far you get through the setup questions and how long each one takes, without any of your answers;
• which Pour Decision Pro option you choose and whether a purchase succeeds;
• app opens, session length, app version, device model, operating system, and language;
• a random identifier created by the Application, plus Apple's vendor identifier, used to count unique users;
• an approximate location (country and city) that Amplitude estimates from your IP address.

The Application does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA). It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not show ads, and does not sell or share your data with data brokers.

You can turn usage analytics off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share usage data.

Purchases

Pour Decision Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, bought through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat. The Service Provider never sees your payment details. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and your purchase and subscription history so it can verify purchases, check whether a subscription is active, and restore purchases.

Feedback

If you email the Service Provider, your email address and message are used only to reply to you.

This Website

pourdecision.app uses Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read, and understand which links and campaigns bring visitors to the site (for example, the source in a link's "utm" parameters) and which visitors go on to open the App Store. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser and device details. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website doesn't ask you for personal details, and none of your app data ever reaches it.

Third-Party Services

These providers process data on the Service Provider's behalf, under their own privacy policies:

Disclosure

The Service Provider may disclose information if required by law, or when necessary to protect its rights or the safety of others.

Data Retention and Deletion

Drink data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Application. Usage analytics are kept only as long as they are useful for improving the Application. To ask for your analytics data to be deleted, contact [email protected].

Children

The Application is about alcohol and is not intended for anyone under the legal drinking age in their country, and in any case not for children under 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
